Up with the birds (doves from the sounds of them) and the visitors started. Bill’s friend, Audrey dropped in with maps, suggestions and invites for drinks Friday and a Saturday night special event. Then Shirley returned to be sure we were settled in and see if we needed anything. She also had some New Year’s Decorations she wanted to store in the second bedroom closet – they just had a big party in the park and used the giant silver ball-covered stars for their decorations. They joined the Christmas decorations already in there. She added that there is also a turkey in the freezer which she is perfectly willing to take out if we need the room (perks of managing a neighbour’s double-wide – extra storage space!) For the second time, Shirley invited us to come over soon and see her husband’s back yard model train setup.
