Don't forget your sunscreen!

We're leaving on the 7:00 am ferry Wednesday to drive down to Bellingham for our 4:00 pm flight. We've rented a place in Palm Desert to reconnoitre for next year. Truth is, I've never been keen about going to one of these snow-bird filled, gated communities with residents walking around with ankle high suntans but I will try to keep an open mind. One of our first trips will be to Joshua Tree National Park to see if the desert is blooming.

    Yay! A safe arrival in a hot climate...jealous a little. It is beautiful here today. Sunny blue skies, but still chilly! Knuck, Kev and I are reminding your house that people still love it. Kev's watching Blue Planet, and I'm in the backyard listening to the pond and catching the last rays of sunshine. Ball throwing mostly. Looking forward to more of your trip!
